Job Title: Cable and Harness Assembler 
Department: Operations
Reports to: Department Supervisor
Effective Date: 6-18-2025

Job Summary:
Cable and harness assembler will follow all process instructions to assemble product per IPC 620.
 
Supervisory Responsibilities:
None

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Cutting
  • Crimping
  • Stripping
  • Tinning
  • Winding
  • Soldering
  • Performs all related operation steps for cable assembly
  • Applying shrink tubing
  • Applying connectors
  • Measuring cut lengths
  • Terminations
  • Adheres to all safety requirements
  • Follows prints and work instructions to construct cable and wire harness assemblies
  • Applied related hardware per print

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to measure dimensions properly
  • Should have a working knowledge of all related cable assembly tools such as crimpers,

Wire strippers, soldering irons and specialized equipment

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Will be required to log labor hours and complete work travelers associated with jobs
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Good manual dexterity and working with small fine wires and making precision cuts.
  • Time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

Education and Experience:
Existing or prior IPC 620 cable and wire harness certification
High School diploma or equivalent
Ability to speak English and interpret work instructions properly

Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working with misc. tools.

Job Title: Quality Assurance Engineer                                   
Department: Quality
Reports to: Director of Quality and Compliance
Effective Date: 3-19-2025

Job Summary:
The Quality Assurance Engineer assists in the implementation and maintenance of all quality system requirements. Supports quality requirements, corrective actions and continuous improvement activity relating to customer product, supplies and the QMS.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Establish and implement process control plans.
  • Ensure that procedures and work instructions are documented according company and ISO standards
  • Collects, organizes, monitors, and distributes information related to quality and process improvement functions
  • Monitor production floor processes for conformance to control plans and customer requirements
  • Creates clear definition of product quality requirements
  • Oversees and carries out processes required for the QMS, including but not limited to internal audits, CAPA system, and calibration and quality documents.
  • Update DPMO and utilization charts and quality objectives
  • Assists in resolving quality issues with customers, sales and suppliers
  • Complies with policies and procedures pertaining to facility such as ISO 9001 and ISO 13485
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks.

Job Title: SMT Machine Operator III                    
Department: Surface Mount
Reports to: Surface Mount Supervisor
Effective Date: 3-19-2025

Job Summary:
The Surface Mount Machine Operator III is responsible for operating and maintaining surface mount technology equipment to assembly electronics components onto printed circuit boards.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • None.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operator SMT equipment, including solder paste printer, pick and place machines.
  • Verify placement programs
  • Inspect components and PCBs for defects and quality issues
  • Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions or process errors
  • Adjust machines while running a job if necessary
  • Evaluate solder condition after reflow, knowledge of IPC Standards.
  • Perform some manual part placement
  • Follow assembly instructions, word orders, and engineering drawing.
  • Help with training SMT Operators
  • Help operators on other lines to troubleshoot machine problems
  • Works with engineering and makes suggestions on new builds and continuous improvements.
  • Maintain ESD Controls.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned. 

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Able to perform set-up checks and meter parts and possess a strong knowledge of component values.
  • Ability to find and read component data sheets.
  • Work with others and be am example to the team.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least three years related experience required.
  • Strong knowledge of surface mount technology processes and equipment
  • Position requires candidate to be a U.S. person as defined in 22 CFR 120.62 (U.S. Citizenship or Resident Alien Status).

Job Title: Solderer                                                          
Department: Assembly

Job Summary:
The Solderer will prepare and solder components to build prototype and volume assembly operations.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Performs various types of soldering including surface mount, thru-hole, and hand-soldering.
  • Gathers components needed to meet production schedules.
  • Sets up equipment and solders components together.
  • Documents production traceability and feedback in data collection system.
  • Cleans work area and equipment.
  • Maintains ESD Controls
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Ability to follow instructions.
  • Knowledge of soldering process and techniques.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Uphold exceptional levels of accuracy, safety and performance in daily functions.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous related experience preferred; on-the-job training offered.

Job Title: Test Team Lead
Department: Test
Reports to: Test Manager  
Effective Date: 3/19/2025

Job Summary:
Lead and support test for prototype and volume assembly printed circuit board assembly operation. Provide direction, instruction, and guidance to test staff. Act as leader to solve conflicts quickly and effectively.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Coaches and trains new employees
  • Assists with daily workflow of the department.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Administers training
  • Works closely with Test Engineer Manager to correct errors and resolve day-to-day process problems
  • Participates in special projects and assignments as required
  • Raises issue that require further diagnosis to Test Engineer Manager
  • Initiates improvements to tooling, test fixtures, testing processes, and data collection by communicating suggestions to manager
  • Functionally test PCBs for failures
  • Log pass/fail data into data collection system
  • Debug board to the component level
  • Create new AOI programs and edit/modify existing AOI programs
  • Update AOI programs per history sheet revision changes
  • Provides support to AOI
  • Follow Electro-Static Discharge (ESD) procedures
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
